Acid Black Cherry: Ranks #1 on Oricon for the First Time

Taking a hiatus from his rock band Janne Da Arc, vocalist yasu has released his 3rd album 2012 under his solo act, Acid Black Cherry. The album sold 118,000 copies, a personal best for him, and ranked in at number one on Oricon’s 4/2 Weekly Album Ranking – a first time for yasu. Yasu has been having major activities for 13 years, and this will be his first ever first place.
His previous singles and albums have been able to reach the number two spot, and his works with Janne Da Arc were also able to reach number two, but not number one.
Congratulations Acid Black Cherry!
